The New Man in Christ

The Journey of Growth

As this class continues, some people move forward while others stop along the way. Think back to when you first entered school: not everyone who started with you finished with you. In the same way, not everyone who begins this spiritual journey continues faithfully.

But for those who persevere, growth happens. Transformation happens. The journey continues.

This walk with God is a process.

A good example is pregnancy. When a woman becomes pregnant, people celebrate the news, but pregnancy is only the beginning. There is a journey that follows — care, discipline, nourishment, and endurance are required to carry the child successfully until delivery.

In the same way, receiving spiritual truth is only the beginning. What matters is how you nurture it, grow in it, and bring it to maturity.

Understanding the True Meaning of Seed

We also spoke about the principle of the seed.

In many places, people think of seed only as money — “sow a seed for this” or “give for that.” While giving and offerings are important, the kingdom principle of seed goes deeper than finances.

The true seed is your ability to raise others into the Kingdom.

When you preach the Gospel, help someone grow spiritually, and bring them into fellowship, that becomes your seed. Your fruit is seen in the lives you help transform.

That is the kingdom model of seed sowing.

Principles of the Class

We also discussed the principles that guide everyone in this class.

1. Acknowledgement

You must acknowledge the spirit and order of the class. Even if you cannot attend for a genuine reason, communicate and stay connected.

Acknowledgement shows honor, humility, and seriousness.

2. Obedience

Be obedient to the principles and instructions given in the class. Spiritual growth requires discipline.

3. Consistency

Attendance and perseverance matter. Those who continue steadily are the ones who grow.

The Human Assistant and the True Teacher

Today you may see one instructor, and tomorrow another person may lead. But the Teacher has not changed.

Human assistants may change, but the true Teacher remains the Spirit of God.

That is the One you must ultimately acknowledge and follow.

The Principle of the Spirit: Study, Pray, and Speak

The foundation of growth in this class is:

Study

Study your notes and teachings carefully. Growth requires understanding.

Pray

Develop a consistent prayer life. We encourage at least one hour of prayer daily, especially during midnight prayers.

One hour is the minimum, not the limit. As your spiritual life grows, prayer becomes easier and deeper.

Sometimes we pray together as a class because consistency is built through practice. Over time, prayer becomes a personal lifestyle.

Speak

Speaking means evangelism and testimony.

Share the Gospel. Testify about what God is doing in your life. Help bring others into the Kingdom.

That is true seed raising.

Kingdom Seed vs Religious Seed

In many religious settings, seed is often centered around money. But in the Kingdom, seed is measured by transformed lives.

The greatest seed you can sow is a soul brought into God’s Kingdom and nurtured into spiritual growth.

That is the seed that produces lasting fruit.

Understanding the Kingdom Seed

Many people sow seeds in different ways, especially through money, and there is nothing wrong with giving. But in the Kingdom, when we speak about “seed,” we are speaking primarily about multiplication of righteousness.

We are multiplying the life and righteousness of Christ in us by raising others into the Kingdom. That is the true meaning of seed raising.

What Is the Newman Class?

On Monday, we introduced the Newman Class and explained that it is a gateway.

We used the illustration of a funnel. In the Gospel classes, everyone is welcomed freely. People come, hear the Word, learn about salvation, being born again, and many foundational truths through Gospel A, B, and C.

But the Newman Class is different.

This is a gate.

It is a place of transition where deeper work begins. Here, screening begins. Sanctification begins. Formation begins.

You are no longer just attending fellowship casually; you are entering a process of spiritual preparation and transformation.

This gateway has stages:

  • A1
  • A2
  • A3

And each stage is leading somewhere spiritually significant.

The Newman Class Anthem

The Newman in CHRIST
is the Recreated spirit of CHRIST
in a Man
Who lives not after the flesh.
In old conversations and characteristics
of parentage
But live in the spirit of his
New birth.
To be controlled and coordinated
-in the Holy Ghost Punctuation
-in the Holy Ghost Power
-in the Holy Ghost Anointing
To overcome the World
To subdue the World
To Dominate the World

A Gateway of Screening and Sanctification

The Newman Class is purposely designed for the screening, sorting, and sanctification of those who desire growth in the Kingdom.

Not everyone who begins the journey continues to the end.

We used the example of the children of Israel leaving Egypt. Many people started the journey, but not everyone crossed into the next phase. Along the way, there was testing, separation, growth, and purification.

The same principle applies spiritually.

The Newman Class is for people who started in the crowd but are willing to continue through the process of transformation.

That is why there are principles, expectations, and requirements.

You Are Now Students

In this class, you are no longer regarded as someone who simply attends meetings. You are now students in a spiritual course.

That is why attendance is taken. That is why consistency matters.

Just as a pregnant woman learns and prepares for childbirth, you also must learn and grow spiritually. Through these teachings, you will discover what it truly means to mature spiritually.

A work is being done in you.

The Newman Class Anthem

Today, we also want to introduce the Newman Class Anthem.

This anthem is part of our identity and carries spiritual meaning that will be explained in detail as the classes continue.

Going forward, whenever we gather in class, we will say the anthem together. It is not just a routine — it represents who we are and what we stand for.

For now, we want everyone to write it down and become familiar with it. In later classes, we will explain its deeper meaning line by line.

Growth Depends on Response

As people continue through this gateway, differences will begin to appear.

Growth, understanding, discipline, and spiritual freedom will differ from person to person based on:

  • obedience to the principles,
  • consistency in following the course,
  • acknowledgment of the spirit of the class,
  • and willingness to submit to the process.

The Newman Class is a passage, and every passage has principles that govern it.

You cannot move through it casually.

Those who submit to the process will be shaped, refined, and prepared for where God is taking them.

Spiritual Growth Requires Intentionality

Everything we are teaching is spiritual, but it is also necessary.

Though we may all be adults physically, spiritual maturity is different from physical age. A person can be physically grown and still be spiritually undeveloped.

That is why this process exists — to help believers grow intentionally into maturity in Christ.

Understanding the Student in Newman Class

By physical standards, everyone here is an adult. But in the Newman Class, the student is not your flesh, your age, or your natural personality.

The true student in this class is the spirit man that was born again.

That spirit man is still a child spiritually — in fact, a baby. Just like a newborn baby needs nourishment, care, and guidance, the born-again spirit also needs spiritual feeding and growth.

That is why the Newman Class is designed as a spiritual nursery school.

We are teaching the foundations, the basics, and the principles necessary for spiritual growth and maturity.

A Spiritual Nursery School

The Newman Class is a spiritual nursery school for the born-again spirit man.

Just as children attend nursery school to learn foundational things, the spirit man must also be trained, educated, and nurtured in spiritual matters.

This is why, in this course, we speak to you as children spiritually — not to disrespect anyone physically, but because spiritual growth begins from infancy.

No matter how mature a person may be physically, spiritually the born-again life begins as a child that must grow.

The Spirit Man Born of God

The spirit man who becomes a student in the Newman Class carries within him the seed of the Word of God.

This is the divine deposit placed in a person at the new birth.

As we read in the book of John:

“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God…”

This birth is different from natural birth.

There is a birth that comes through blood, human will, and the flesh. But there is also a birth that is of God.

The spirit man we are speaking about is born of God.

That is why we refer to it as a parental birth — a birth that originates from God Himself.

The Seed of the Word

Inside the born-again spirit is the seed of the Word — a spiritual deposit placed by Christ.

This seed must grow.

And growth does not happen automatically. It requires teaching, prayer, discipline, obedience, and spiritual nourishment.

That is the purpose of the Newman Class: to nurture the seed of God within the believer until spiritual maturity begins to form.

Why This Understanding Matters

When we teach in this class, we are addressing the spirit man, not merely the physical person.

Understanding this helps you approach the course with humility, openness, and the willingness to learn as a child learns.

Because in the Kingdom, spiritual maturity is not measured by physical age, education, or status — it is measured by growth in Christ.

The Spiritual Birth of the New Man

In our anthem, we spoke about the parental birth.

By natural birth, we were born through human lineage and into a world affected by sin. But the spirit man experiences another kind of birth — a birth that is spiritual and divine.

When the Word of God enters a person and is received genuinely, a spiritual birth takes place. This is what it means to be born again.

Jesus explained this to Nicodemus in John 3. A man becomes born again when he truly repents, believes, and receives Christ. At that moment, the seed of the Word is deposited within him.

That spiritual birth gives a person the right to become a child of God.

And spiritually, that child begins as a baby.

The Purpose of the Newman Class

By virtue of spiritual birth, we become spiritual infants who must be nurtured, taught, and trained.

That is the purpose of the Newman Class.

The Newman Class exists for the education and development of the born-again spirit man.

Many of us have attended churches for years. We learned Bible verses, listened to sermons, and participated in church activities. But for many believers, no one truly explained the existence and growth of the spirit man in detail.

That is why this class is important.

In the Newman Class, we are learning not only religion or information, but understanding our spiritual existence in God.

A Time for Reflection and Growth

As you continue through this course, it is important to keep records of what you are learning.

Write down what you currently understand about your spiritual life, your relationship with God, and your understanding of the spirit man. Then, as the course progresses, compare your growth and see what God has revealed to you.

This journey is meant to produce understanding and transformation.

The Holy Ghost anointing is not just an experience — it is a life of transformation.

The Qualification for the Newman Class

No one enters the Newman Class without the deposit of the Word.

The portion of Christ within a person is the qualification for this class.

That deposit — the seed of the Word in the born-again spirit — is what makes a person new.

As Scripture says:

“If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.”

The newness of a believer comes from the Word of God deposited within the spirit man.

Beyond Mere Belief

In this class, we will gradually learn:

  1. The portion of Christ within us,
  2. The works of Christ within us,
  3. And the program of God on the earth.

These teachings are meant to move us beyond being mere believers.

Many people believe in Jesus, but cannot explain or defend what they believe. Some became Christians by tradition, family background, influence, or because they were searching for help during difficult times.

There is nothing wrong with how people first come to God.

But true Christianity is ultimately rooted in spiritual birth — hearing the Gospel, believing it, repenting, confessing Christ, and receiving the Word of God personally.

At that point, faith becomes personal and real.

Like the Samaritan woman in Scripture, people may first come because of what someone else said, but eventually they must know Christ for themselves.

We are no longer living on hearsay faith. We must come into personal understanding and experience of the Lord.

The Spiritual Nursery School of the Word

The Newman Class is the spiritual nursery school of the Word.

It is not built around denominations, human opinions, or the doctrines of men. It is centered on the Word who was with God and who is God.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

We are speaking about a divine Person — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

Through this spiritual education, believers are taught to understand the truth of Christ within them.

The Kingdom Journey

The Newman Class is part of what we call the Kingdom Age educational system.

Our focus is the Kingdom of God.

Everything we are being taught is meant to help the life of Christ within us grow, mature, and develop.

Growth does not happen automatically. No one develops without learning, training, and passing through a process.

That is why this journey matters.

And though challenges may come, we are encouraged by the words of Christ:

“In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

The disciples faced trials, persecutions, and testing, yet they remained faithful and testified that Jesus is Lord.

In the same way, this journey will stretch and strengthen us, but God will sustain us through it all.

We are beginning a journey of growth, revelation, and transformation in Christ.

They were born not by blood, nor by the will of the flesh, nor by the will of man, but of God.

Natural birth comes through human parentage — through blood, flesh, and the womb of a woman. Every one of us entered the world through that parental birth.

But there is also a spiritual birth.

The spiritual birth happens when a person encounters Christ and receives the Word of God. This is the new birth Jesus spoke about to Nicodemus.

When Nicodemus asked, “How can a man be born again? Must he return to his mother’s womb?” the Lord explained that flesh gives birth to flesh, but Spirit gives birth to spirit.

So spiritual birth is not through human effort or natural lineage. It comes through the Word and by the Spirit of God.

A Recap of What We Have Learned

Today we have briefly reviewed several important foundations:

  • the requirements and expectations of the class,
  • the principles of the class and the Spirit,
  • and the purpose of the Newman Class itself.

We are still in the introductory stage, laying a foundation for where this journey is leading.

One important truth to understand is this:

The Newman Class is a spiritual nursery school of the Word.

The student in this school is the spiritual baby — the born-again spirit man we call the “new man.”

This new man exists because of the deposit of the Word of God within him.

The Purpose of the Newman Class

The Newman Class is an introduction of the born-again spirit into the journey of the Kingdom.

That is why in Newman Class A1, we will learn:

  • the truth of being born again,
  • the reality of salvation,
  • the Kingdom of God,
  • and the portion of the Word deposited within us.

Everything centers around the Word of God within the believer.

That deposit is what qualifies a person to become a student in this spiritual school of the Word.

The Evidence of the New Man

In this class, the truth of the Word is expected to become visible in your life.

The evidence of the new man should be seen and demonstrated.

As we say in our anthem:

“The new man in Christ lives not after the flesh or the characteristics of natural parentage, but believes in the Spirit of his new birth, to be controlled and coordinated by the Holy Ghost — in His power and anointing — to overcome, subdue, and dominate the world.”

These are not just words. They are truths we will study deeply.

We will learn:

  • What is the power of the Holy Ghost?
  • What is the anointing?
  • What does it mean to overcome the world?
  • How do we live above the limitations of the flesh?
  • What does spiritual dominion truly mean?

These are part of the journey ahead.

Understanding Parentage and Spiritual Lineage

We also mentioned parentage.

Parentage refers to lineage — the nature and characteristics inherited from one’s source.

Through Adam, humanity inherited a fallen nature. Because Adam multiplied after the fall, every person born naturally inherits that condition. That is why sin became natural to man.

But through Christ, a new lineage is introduced.

The born-again believer now belongs to a spiritual parentage rooted in God, not merely in fallen humanity.

And this new birth begins the process of transformation into the image and life of Christ.

The Journey Ahead

Everything we are doing this week is to introduce you to the journey ahead.

This is not just another class; it is the beginning of spiritual understanding, growth, and formation.

As we continue, many of these truths will be explained in greater depth, and through the help of the Holy Ghost, we will grow into maturity in Christ.
