Existing vs. Living (Physical Life) Existing means to have breath, to survive, to be present. Ex: People breathe, eat, work, sleep — but many simply exist. Living means to have purpose, meaning, joy, and fruitfulness. Ex: A person who is truly alive uses their life to bless, create, love, and fulfill purpose. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” - Matthew 4:4 Even in physical life, mere survival isn’t true living. Real life depends on God’s word and purpose. Existing vs. Living (Spiritual Life) In the spiritual life , many exist but few truly live . They go to church. They read the Bible. They pray. But sometimes, these acts are mechanical , not transformational . Existing spiritually means: You believe in God but remain in your old nature.
