Jan 24 2026 Saturday teachings - The Truth of Gospel salvation

You may say, “Praise the Lord—hallelujah!” But where is your heart?

Is your heart present in class today? Is your spirit man present?

Are you worshiping the Lord in spirit and in truth, or are you giving Him vain worship just because you can be called a worshiper? True worship requires the right condition of the heart.

You have not come to see a person. You have not come to see me. You have come to encounter the Lord Jesus through His Word, to experience His goodness through His teachings. His teachings are an extension of His love toward us, meant to bring us freedom.

Opening Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come before You at this time.
We reverence Your name, King of kings and Lord of lords.
We present our hearts before You as Your students.

Put us in the right condition to receive Your Word. Remove everything that is not of You. We pray against everything that fights for our attention and everything that distracts us in class. In the name of Jesus, let every such thing be defeated.

We exalt Your name in our meeting today. You have not gathered us in vain, Father. May our worship never be in vain. May our attendance in class today never be in vain. Let every purpose and every target of Your Spirit for us today be accomplished.

We exalt Your Son, our King, Jesus. May Your name be glorified. Anything that stands against us today, by the authority in the name of Jesus, let it be pulled down. Have Your way in our lives today.

We receive all You have for us, in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Understanding from someone: Gospel Education (3) In the knowledge of truth of God in creation

True Knowledge vs. False Knowledge of God

We spoke about the true knowledge of God and the false knowledge of God.

False knowledge of God is trying to know or serve God through created things—things that were made by God but are not God Himself.

The first example is trying to know God through angels. This includes contact with angels, fallen angels, or other spiritual entities.

The second is trying to know God through images or created objects. This includes idols made by people. Scripture tells us, “You shall not make for yourself any graven image.” We should not try to know God through physical representations created by human hands.

Another form of false knowledge is believing that knowing God comes only through intellectual knowledge of Scripture. The Pharisees are an example of this. They were scholars of the Scriptures and believed they understood God completely. Yet when the Messiah Himself stood before them, they doubted Him and failed to recognize Him.

They had knowledge of Scripture, but they lacked true understanding.

Understanding from someone:The Role of the Holy Spirit

When someone relies only on book knowledge, it often leads to pride and arrogance. A person may have general knowledge of the Bible but lack spiritual understanding.

The Scriptures were written by people who were inspired by God and testified through the Holy Spirit. Therefore, knowing Scripture alone does not automatically mean you know God.

The Holy Spirit is the true Teacher. He is the One who teaches us everything we need to know about God. Without Him, Scripture becomes information rather than revelation.

Lastly, we discussed trying to move God through methods that are not led by the Spirit. This is where my understanding reached, and I’ll stop here.
Hallelujah.

Feedback & Application

You did well, but you can do better.

Do not try to memorize teachings word for word. Studying the Word of God is not about the brain alone. You are not here to repeat what was said or to recite notes.

What matters is understanding.

Ask yourself:

  • What did this teaching mean to me personally?

  • How does what I learned apply to my life?

  • What changed in me because of this teaching?

We know what the Pharisees did—but how does that lesson apply to you? What did you do with what you learned?

Understanding is personal. When you truly understand, your language changes. You begin to speak in terms of “I,” “me,” and “my life.” That shows the Word has become real to you.

I am not interested in hearing what was taught again. I want to hear how the teaching affected your life.

That is true understanding.

Teaching: Knowing God Beyond Scripture Alone

Alright. Many of you here are strong students of the Scriptures. Some of you can quote verses back and forth with ease. But the question is this: can you quote the Spirit? Can you say, “Jesus said this to me”?

If your only knowledge of God comes from what is written in Scripture, then you do not truly know Him. Anyone can read the Bible. Even the devil knows the Scriptures. Scientists read the Bible. Philosophers read the Bible. That does not mean they know God.

What kind of relationship would you have with your father if the only way you heard from him was by reading a book he wrote? And yet we say, “Jesus lives in me. I have the Holy Spirit in me.” That same Holy Spirit who lived in the apostles and prophets—the same Spirit who led them to write the Scriptures—lives in you. So why is your knowledge of God limited only to the written Word? Why is He not speaking to you personally?

Our Doctrine: Jesus Living and Speaking in You

As disciples in this fellowship, our doctrine is simple: Jesus in you, speaking to you.

Even when you don’t have your Bible with you, even when your mind goes blank and you can’t remember a verse, you still know what the Spirit of God has said to you. That is true knowledge of God. That is knowledge that lives in your spirit.

The knowledge in the Bible belongs to the prophets and the apostles. What they wrote was what God said to them. But what has God said to you?

It should not only be, “Paul said,” or “Peter said,” or “Jeremiah said.” The real question is: What did God say to you?

That is what should shape your vision, your desires, your prayers, and your daily walk. When you go back to pray and study, let this be your focus and your cry:
“Jesus, speak to me.”

What is given in class is what God has spoken to a vessel, just as He spoke to the prophets and apostles. But your personal assignment is to receive what God says directly to you. That is your own personal knowledge of Him.

Assignment: Personal Revelation

Your goal is this: when you return for the next class, you should have at least one full page—plus an extra paragraph—of what God has spoken to you personally.

If you are truly connected to the Spirit of God, when you go back to pray and study, you will find yourself writing. Not copying from the Bible, but writing what the Lord is placing in your heart. That becomes your personal knowledge of God—knowledge that settles in your spirit.

Jesus said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”
It is not just knowledge of the truth, but personal revelation of the truth, that brings freedom.

Without this, you may repeat what was taught in class, but there will be no freedom, no growth, and no advancement.

So when you go back to study, go back with focus and intention. Let your prayer be:
“Lord, speak to me. Teach me more. Give me deeper understanding. Show me how this applies to my life.”

Because you can be physically present in class while your spirit is far away. God wants to prove that you are truly His student—personally and inwardly.

Student Reflection: The Truth of Gospel Salvation - Elect Lady

Earlier this week, starting on Monday, we began discussing the truth of gospel salvation, and we continued again on Wednesday.

We learned that the truth of the gospel is the confirmation—the proof—of the freedom of my spirit from bondage, so that I can serve God in righteousness. That proof is what truly matters.

Anyone can read the Bible, but reading Scripture without revelation is like reading a newspaper. But Jesus said in John 6:63, “The words that I speak are spirit, and they are life.”

What my spirit needs is that spiritual life—the confirmation, the experience, the proof. And that proof shows up in my personal walk.

For example, I used to pray regularly in the mornings, and it became part of my life. Even when I feel weak, the Holy Spirit wakes me up and draws me into prayer.

I’ve noticed that when I neglect prayer or the Word, I become uncomfortable inside. But when I return to studying the Word and spending time with God, that discomfort disappears, and peace returns. It is like a schoolmaster guiding me, and I love it because obedience brings peace.

This is how the Holy Spirit communicates with me. This is how the truth of the gospel of salvation becomes real in my life and leads me forward on my journey.

Testimony : Personal Application of the Word

What I learned from class is this: the truth of gospel salvation is the proof of my freedom. It is not just what I say, and not just what I write down or screenshot—it is what God is dealing with me about personally.

During my prayer time, the Lord led me to Psalm 100, which speaks about coming before His presence with joy and thanksgiving. He showed me that He wants me to serve Him with pleasure—not just to avoid hell, but because I love Him.

The Lord taught me to seek His kingdom first and not be consumed by worries about money, family, or life’s pressures. He showed me that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is a ministry of freedom, where bondages are broken and captives are delivered.

He reminded me that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. Old thoughts, past pain, and former hurts belong to the old nature. The new man has new thoughts, new desires, and new revelation.

God showed me that He is not just a book—He is my life. He is my teacher, my provider, my Father, and everything I need.

He also showed me that this is not a relationship of convenience. The flesh does not love God or want to serve Him. The flesh resists prayer and obedience. That nature must be crucified in order to live fully in the Spirit.

I realized that I cannot do this on my own. I need the Holy Spirit as my helper, my teacher, and my guide.

Thank you for listening.

Student Reflection: The Truth of Gospel Salvation - Raji

Identity, Revelation, and Discipleship

We are a people who have been chosen by God. Because of this, we must live by revelation. Each of us needs personal revelation about ourselves—Who am I as a disciple of Jesus?

Jesus once asked His disciples, “Who do men say that I am?”
Some said He was Elijah. Others said Jeremiah or one of the prophets. But Peter received a revelation and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” That revelation did not come from human understanding—it came from God.

In the same way, every one of us must receive revelation concerning our own identity. Who am I as a disciple of Jesus? What is God expecting from me?

When I go to work, when I go outside, people should see Jesus in me. That should be my identity. I must resemble Christ in my character, my actions, and my words.

If I do not know who I am, I will live wrongly. It is like a pregnant woman who does not know she is pregnant. She may take the wrong medication or do harmful things that could destroy the baby. In the same way, if I do not know my identity in Christ, I may sin or live carelessly and fail to fulfill God’s purpose for my life.

Therefore, I must know who I am, and everything I do must glorify God. Without Jesus, I can do nothing. My life must reflect my identity in Him.

Student Reflection: Personal Understanding and Revelation

Why do we remain at the level of general knowledge? If you study the Word and you do not understand it, that lack of understanding should become your prayer point. If you are not praying for understanding of the Word of God, then what exactly are you praying about?

Others are sharing the additional things they received during study and prayer. What is your testimony? What has the Lord said to you?

Who is Jesus to you? It should not just be a general statement like, “He is my Lord, my King.” The real question is: How has He revealed Himself to you personally?

People in Scripture had personal encounters with God. When God revealed Himself to Moses, He said, “I AM THAT I AM.” Through personal encounters, God revealed His names—Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi, Ebenezer. These names were born out of revelation, not theory.

So who has God revealed Himself to you as? You may call Him Father—but has He revealed Himself to you as Father?

Today’s topic: The Truth of Gospel Salvation

Definition: The Truth of Gospel salvation is the confirmation of your spirit man freedom from the bondage of sin, to serve God in righteousness.

Knowing Your Salvation

Let me ask you a question: how many of you know that you are saved?

This is not about how many of you are saved, but how many of you know that you are saved. Some people may be saved and yet do not know it—and that is a serious problem.

It is like a woman who is pregnant but does not know she is pregnant. In her ignorance, both her life and the life she carries are at risk. In the same way, if you are saved and do not know it, you are in danger. That ignorance can cause you to live wrongly and frustrate the grace of God in your life.

That is why we are teaching on the truth of salvation. If you are saved, you must know it, you must show the proof. If you are not saved, you must also know it.

We sang today, “We have seen the goodness of the Lord.” Where have you seen His goodness? Why has God been good to you? Is it only for physical blessings, or is it to lead you to repentance, recognition, and submission to Him?

Matthew 15:7-9 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Urgency of Salvation

Why delay giving your life to Christ? What are you waiting for?

There is no convenient time. Christianity is not a relationship of convenience. It is not something you do when it suits you. Every day you delay, you postpone the presence of God in your life and make a mockery of His grace.

Every day you live without surrendering your life to Christ, you diminish the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.

For those who say they are saved—well done. Now the question is this: Did you preach the gospel this week?

Everyone Is Preaching a Gospel

Whether you realize it or not, everyone is preaching a gospel. There is no neutral ground. There is no fence to sit on.

You are either preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God—the gospel of light—or you are preaching the gospel of darkness. If you remain silent when you have the light, you are already advancing darkness.

God gave you light for a reason. You hear the Word, you study, you pray, and you receive revelation—but if you keep it to yourself, that is wickedness. Light is not meant to be hidden.

When you hide the light of God within you and refuse to speak, you are indirectly telling darkness to continue expanding its kingdom on earth.

Yet you pray, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” How will God’s kingdom come if His children refuse to open their mouths?

If you receive God’s light, you must release it. The gospel is not for “me and my family” alone. It is for the world.

The Danger of Silence and Passivity

When you keep the gospel only to yourself—“just me,” or “me and my family,” or “me and my friends”—what about others? What about the darkness around you?

When you close your mouth and refuse to preach the gospel of Jesus, you are already telling the kingdom of darkness to continue. The devil does not need you to actively serve him. All he needs is for you to be passive.

Be passive about your service to Jesus.
Be passive about your salvation.
Be passive about your worship.

That is enough for him.

The only victory that should be evident in your life is the victory of the Son of God. The devil will not have victory in you unless you allow it through passivity.

You hear the Word of God, but for that Word to become active in your life, you must open your mouth and speak it. Light only increases when it is allowed to shine.

There is a song that says, “This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine.”
Letting your light shine is not only about being a “good person,” forgiving others, or avoiding quarrels. Those things are good—but people must know where that life comes from.

Jesus said, “If you deny Me, I will deny you. If you confess Me, I will confess you.”
If you are proud of Him, He will be proud of you.

But how do you show that you are proud of Him if you are shy to speak about Him?
How can you say you are a child of God and yet be timid about your Father?

You say you are saved, yet you are afraid to speak. That means there is still bondage. True freedom produces boldness.

The Process of Salvation

Salvation follows a clear order:
hearing → believing → accepting → repenting → confessing.

Once you do your part, God does His part—He forgives you.

That forgiveness is God’s work, not yours. When He forgives you, He places His Spirit within you. That Spirit reconciles you to God and makes you His child.

This is what we have been teaching in Gospel Class:
Who is a child of God?
How does someone become a child of God?

These are not casual questions. They are foundational.

You Are Either Helping Jesus or Helping the Devil

When you come to class and only repeat what was taught, without understanding or application, you are helping the enemy rob you.

Jesus said the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy—but He came that you may have life in abundance. You either cooperate with Jesus or you cooperate with the devil.

Helping Jesus means obedience.
Helping the devil means disobedience, neglect, and passivity.

When you refuse to go back, study, apply, and grow, you are allowing the enemy to steal from you.

Going forward, there must be improvement in the understanding you share. You are in Gospel Class C, not a beginner’s class. You are expected to handle deeper truths.

A Child vs. A Child of God

Here is a more advanced truth:
There is a difference between a child and a child of God.

Every human being is born as a child, but not every child is a child of God. A child of God is one whose spirit man has received the Word of God and in whom Christ lives.

The Child of God is your spirit man born again

  • The word of God in you
  • The spirit of Christ in you
to make you as a child of God

When a baby is born, the first concern is feeding. If a child does not eat well, the parents worry. They take the child to the hospital. Why? Because growth depends on feeding.

A child who is not fed becomes weak, malnourished, and unable to function properly. Such a child grows up to be a burden, not because they were unloved, but because they were not properly nourished.

Parents feed their children not only because they love them, but because they want the child to grow strong and eventually be responsible.

Feeding the Spirit Man

The same principle applies spiritually.

When you are born into the family of God, your spirit man is a child that must be fed. The food of the spirit man is the Word of God.

Studying the Word is eating.
Prayer is like drinking water—it helps digestion.

Sometimes you study and don’t understand. That means you need to pray. Prayer helps the Word digest. Understanding is spiritual digestion.

If food is eaten but not digested, it becomes harmful. In the same way, studying the Word without understanding brings no benefit and can even cause frustration.

When you attend class and go back without receiving anything additional—no new insight, no revelation—you have been robbed.

Jesus did not call you to be a victim. He called you to live in victory.

Salvation Is Proven by Experience

The truth of salvation is not just in what you say—it is in what you experience.

This teaching is for three groups of people:

  1. Those who are saved and know they are saved — to show you what is expected of you.

  2. Those who are saved but do not know they are saved — to bring you into understanding and alignment.

  3. Those who are not saved — to show you what you are missing and invite you to respond.

God is not begging anyone. He has already done His part. Salvation is offered freely, though it cost Jesus His life.

The goodness of God is meant to lead you to repentance, not complacency.

Why God Shows Goodness

Jesus healed the sick, fed the hungry, and performed miracles—not because physical things were the main goal, but because they were attractions.

Blessings, family, children, jobs, and miracles are bait—to draw your attention to something greater: spiritual life.

Physical blessings are only a shadow. The real substance is spiritual.

Evidence of New Birth

When Christ is born in you, something changes. Your desires change. Your vision changes. Your hunger changes.

Desires come from the spirit. When a new Spirit lives in you, new desires are produced.

That is why Jesus said, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

The first and only prayer God accepts from a sinner is the prayer of repentance and forgiveness. Before praying for jobs, healing, or success, that prayer must come first.

If you do not feel uncomfortable when you neglect the Word of God, something is wrong. Hunger for the Word is proof that your spirit man is alive.

When studying the Word makes you uncomfortable if you neglect it, that means there is communication between your spirit and your flesh—and your spirit is beginning to lead.

Spiritual Discomfort Is a Sign of Life

Even if I am late, I must still start. Even if I am tired, I must do something—fast a little, pray a little, meditate on the Word, even if it is just a short passage.

Why? Because there is a discomfort within me.

If you do not feel uncomfortable today when you have not prayed or studied, then there is a serious problem.

Yesterday you did not study. The day before, you did not study—and yet you are comfortable. Sister, brother, that is a problem.

It means there is no communication between your spirit man and your flesh. You are disconnected within yourself. How do you expect to receive from God when you are not even receiving from your own spirit man?

Hunger Reveals What Is Feeding Your Spirit

When your spirit man is alive, your hunger changes.

Hunger is simply desire.

If your desires are for masturbation, pornography, gossip, anger, or other sinful habits, that means your spirit man is hungry for sin—and you are feeding it poison without realizing it.

You are feeding your spirit man with poison.

But if you are truly saved, when your hunger is redirected, your desires will change. They will shift toward Christ. They will shift toward righteousness. They will shift toward heaven.

When you miss studying for a day, you will not be comfortable. Even if you are tired and lying in bed, you will remember: “I haven’t fed my spirit.” You will get up and say, “Let me read at least one paragraph.”

Just like physical food—when you are too tired to cook, you still eat snacks because your body is uncomfortable with hunger. In the same way, spiritual laziness should not stop you from feeding your spirit.

One paragraph is not too much. One verse is not too much.

The Fear of God and Spiritual Growth

As your desires change, your fear of God changes. You begin to live in reverence and awe—not fear as in terror, but deep respect.

You still approach God freely, but with honor.

That is the true fear of God.

Many of you have experiences after salvation—dreams, visions, encounters, revelations. That is good. Very good.

But the final proof of salvation is action.

If you have experiences without action, your salvation is unstable. It is like a pregnancy that is threatened. Experiences alone cannot sustain it.

Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
Love for God is proven through obedience, not words.

Salvation is summarized in your actions.

Love for God Must Be Proven

Anyone can say, “I love Jesus.” Anyone can sing songs.

Jesus has already proven His love for you by giving His life.
Now the question is: How do you prove your love for Him?

You prove it through action.

The truth of salvation summarizes in your actions.

If you have experiences and no actions your salvation is shaking.

For your spirit man to remain healthy, it must be fed. God gave His Son so your spirit could live—yet many refuse to feed it.

A parent who carries a child for nine months but refuses to feed the child afterward is not loving that child. The child will not grow.

In the same way, you must take responsibility for your spirit man. Studying the Word and praying are essential.

But many of you stop there.

The Missing Third Component: Evangelism

There are three pillars of spiritual life:

  1. Studying the Word

  2. Prayer

  3. Evangelism

Many of you study well. Many of you pray well. But evangelism is missing.

If you claim to be saved but cannot preach the gospel, something is wrong.

Evangelism is public declaration. It is declaring before heaven, earth, and hell where you stand.

If you say you are free, the first proof of freedom is the ability to speak the gospel.

Before, when you were bound, your mouth was shut. Now you say you are free—yet you still do not speak.

That means you are still bound.

Who Is Your Father?

Jesus said, “If Abraham were your father, you would do the works of Abraham.”

You do not prove your father by words—you prove it by works.

If God is your Father, you will do the works of God.
If Jesus is your Father, you will speak His gospel.

Your life reveals who your father is.

Studying and praying without evangelism is like eating and drinking endlessly without growth. You become spiritually obese.

There is a difference between growth and development.

  • Studying and prayer bring growth.

  • Evangelism brings development.

Evangelism is the food of the Spirit of Christ in you.

Jesus and the Samaritan Woman

In John chapter 4, Jesus was physically hungry. His disciples went to buy food.

But Jesus said, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work.”

John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

While they handled physical matters, Jesus handled spiritual matters. He preached to the Samaritan woman.

The light in Him exposed the darkness in her—and she received it.

She went and preached to the entire village. One encounter led to many salvations.

You do not know what happens when you open your mouth. One person can lead many to Christ.

Heaven rejoices over one soul that repents. Imagine the celebration over the one who brought that soul.

When someone is saved through you, heaven celebrates you.

Fear Is Not an Excuse

Many of you say:

  • “I’m shy.”

  • “I don’t speak English well.”

  • “I’m too busy.”

  • “I don’t have people around me.”

Are you an island?

People are everywhere—grocery stores, buses, streets, workplaces.

Your problem is fear.

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

If you say you are free, then speak.

Revelation 21:8 lists the fearful among those who will not inherit the kingdom.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Fear is not harmless. Fear is bondage.

Final Exhortation

Do not wait until you think you “know enough.” If you wait forever, you will never preach.

Studying and praying without evangelism is growing in circles—round and round—fatter but not taller.

That is spiritual obesity.

True spiritual growth includes reproduction.

Now present yourself before the Lord.

If you are not saved, give your life to Christ—today.
If you are saved but passive, ask for boldness.
Ask God to help you become not just a hearer of the Word, but a doer.

Let the Spirit convict you, correct you, and realign you—before it is too late.

Thank You, Lord, for the Word released today.
In Jesus’ name.
Amen.
