Gospel education is the civilization of the spirit man in knowledge of your rights as the child of God

The Civilization of the Spirit-Man

  • It may not seem efficient, humanly speaking, but divine encounters rarely follow human logic.
  • Think of the Samaritan woman at the well.
  • She had already drawn water, yet after meeting Jesus, she left her water jar and ran into the city. Why?
  • Because she was overwhelmed by her encounter with Christ.
  • She forgot her physical task and ran to tell others, saying, “Come and see the man who told me everything I ever did!”
  • The people came because of her words, but after meeting Jesus themselves, they said, “Now we believe; not because of what you said, but because we have heard Him ourselves.”
  • That is what it means to encounter Christ, to know Him personally.
  • God may use someone to introduce you to Him, but the most important encounter is between you and Jesus Himself.

That’s why, in Jesus Disciples’ Fellowship, we say: “Jesus in you, speaking to your hearing.”
It is not about Jesus in another person on your behalf, it’s about Jesus dwelling in you.

You don’t need to chase after prophets or “special men of God” to hear Him. The Bible says, “We shall all be taught of God.”
In Hebrews 8:10–12, God declares:

“I will put My laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they shall be My people. They shall not teach every man his neighbor, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest.”

  • This is the covenant of divine education—the writing of God’s law within.
  • It’s what I call Gospel Education: the civilization of your soul and your spirit-man.

The Gospel as Civilization(Education)

  • A man who commits sin is an uncivilized spirit-man.
  • A civilized spirit-man understands his divine rights and position in God.
  • When you sin, you bow to another spirit and surrender your authority.
  • Sin is not only disobedience to God—it is obedience to another spirit. That’s why it is rebellion.
  • You’ve given away your spiritual right to live righteously.
  • The gospel comes to enlighten you—to restore your awareness of your rights in Christ and bring your spirit into civilization through righteousness.
  • Ignorance is darkness, and darkness keeps a man enslaved. But education—spiritual education—brings light, understanding, and freedom.
  • People on earth fight for their physical rights because they know them. But if you don’t know your rights, you won’t defend them.
  • Likewise, many believers live below their inheritance simply because they don’t know what belongs to them in Christ.
  • Imagine a man who has just arrived in a country with traffic laws he doesn’t understand.
  • At a zebra crossing, cars stop for him, yet he waves and says “thank you,” not realizing that it’s his right of way. He is not uncivilized in behavior but in knowledge.
  • The same happens spiritually: when you don’t know your divine rights, you live as though you have none.
  • So the Gospel is God’s system of civilization. It educates your spirit and teaches you to function in divine order.
  • Through the gospel, you discover that your greatest rights are freedom, truth, life, and understanding. These are your spiritual rights as a child of God.

Spiritual Education and Revelation

  • God speaks to us in many ways—through His Word, teaching, inner impressions, dreams, trances, and revelation. Sometimes His voice is audible; other times it is gentle and inward.
  • But whether direct or subtle, He is always communicating.
  • Your body may sleep, but your spirit never does. In dreams, visions, or trances, your spirit-man remains active—engaging realities your physical senses cannot perceive.
  • That’s why you must pay attention to your dreams. They are not random; they are often messages from God revealing the state of your spirit or guiding your path.
  • When you wake, write them down. Pray for interpretation. Ask the Holy Spirit for understanding.
  • If you still don’t grasp it, reach out for help. Because understanding is part of your inheritance as a child of God.
  • The process of spiritual civilization begins with documentation and reflection.
  • Write down your dreams, revelations, and what you hear from God. As you study the Word or your fellowship notes, record your insights. When something strikes your spirit—a new depth of meaning or divine clarity—that’s revelation.
  • A revelation is when God opens your eyes to see a truth you hadn’t seen before. Maybe you’ve read a verse many times, but suddenly it bursts forth with new light. That moment of divine insight is your personal revelation.
  • That’s why, in fellowship, we often ask, “What is your revelational understanding?”
  • Because our doctrine is not just about hearing another person speak for God, but learning to hear Jesus in you, speaking directly to your spirit.

Double Teaching

  • Even in class, you can receive double teaching. While the vessel speaks the Word, the Holy Spirit can be giving you additional insight.
  • When that happens, take two sets of notes—one for what the vessel says, and another for what the Lord reveals to you personally.
  • That second one is your treasure. It’s your personal possession of Him—your anchor in truth.
  • This is the difference between general teaching and personal revelation. The general teaching blesses everyone, but revelation transforms you.
  • Just as the people of Samaria believed the woman’s words but were later anchored by their own encounter with Christ, so must your faith mature beyond another person’s experience.
  • Our goal in Christ is not to rely on “Jesus in someone else,” but to rely on Jesus in you.

The Education of the Spirit-Man

  • Through spiritual education, you learn to know your Father—how He speaks, moves, and leads.
  • Even Jesus, the Son of God, said, “I do nothing of Myself; I only do what I see the Father do.”
  • If Jesus lived by revelation, how much more should we?
  • A civilized spirit-man no longer lives by natural laws or human wisdom but by spiritual laws—the laws of righteousness.
  • He is not ruled by the flesh but lives from the inside out.
  • This is what Paul described in Romans 7: the inner war between the law of sin in his members and the law of God in his mind.
  • But when your spirit becomes educated—when truth and revelation govern your heart—you gain mastery.
  • You can now say, “My spirit commands my body, not the other way around.”
  • By natural law, man says you must rest eight hours.
  • But by spiritual law, the Spirit might call you to wake at midnight—the hour of prayer.
  • Jesus Himself prayed at that hour, when the forces of darkness were awake.

Natural law says, “Sleep.”
Spiritual law says, “Arise and pray.”
Because those who live by the Spirit are governed not by flesh but by divine order.

Romans 8:14 says, “As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

  • That’s the true proof that you belong to Him—not miracles or blessings, but being led by His Spirit.

Grace and Truth

  • Grace gives access, but truth gives freedom.
John 1:17 says, “The law came through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”

  • Grace allows you to approach God despite your weakness; truth transforms you to live righteously. Grace opens the door; truth establishes your dwelling.
  • Grace is available to all—believers and unbelievers alike, just like rain falls on all.
  • But truth separates the children of God, because it matures them.
  • Grace provides, but truth educates. Grace feeds, but truth transforms.
  • Even earthly parents who only feed their children without teaching them haven’t fulfilled their role.
  • A true parent educates, disciplines, and imparts wisdom.
  • So God’s greatest act of love is not provision but instruction“Those He loves, He chastens and teaches.”

Transformation: The Goal of Education

  • The purpose of all spiritual education is transformation.
  • Hearing alone is not enough.
  • Every revelation must become reality in your life. Whenever you learn something new, ask: “Father, what is my part in this truth?”
  • Because walking with God is a covenant relationship—it involves two parties. God has done His part through Christ, who said, “It is finished.”
  • Now, it’s your turn to act on what you’ve been taught.
  • Salvation, therefore, is not only belief—it’s conviction. It’s proof.
  • Grace doesn’t take you to heaven; it leads you into the way of heaven.
  • Truth sets you free to live that life now.

Living as a Civilized Spirit-Man

  • Your spirit existed before your flesh.
  • You are not a human seeking a spiritual experience; you are a spirit having a human one.
  • When your spirit becomes educated, you begin to walk in light, no longer judging by appearances but discerning the unseen realities behind them.
  • You realize that every person is a vessel hosting a spirit—either the Spirit of God or another.
  • That’s why spiritual discernment matters, because not everything physical has a physical cause.
  • In all things, acknowledge your Father.
  • Let your decisions, your relationships, and your actions flow from the inside—from the civilization of your spirit-man.

Final Declaration

  • Today we affirm this truth: The Gospel is the education that civilizes your spirit-man—restoring your awareness of your divine rights and transforming you into the image of Christ.
  • As Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and they follow Me.”
  • You cannot follow a voice you do not recognize.
  • So listen, write, and obey—because every word God speaks to you is a step toward the full civilization of your spirit-man.
