Combined Message:
The
Lion of God (Othniel),
through His strength and unity (Ehud), bore the cup of
suffering (Shamgar).
Though He had the sting of death upon Him (Deborah), He fought as a mighty warrior (Gideon).
He humbled Himself as a worm, pouring
out His crimson blood (Tola),
and became the light of
the world (Jair).
He opened the way to the Father
(Jephthah), and in His splendor (Ibzan), carried the Cross like an oak tree (Elon).
As the servant of all (Abdon),
He gave His life. And like the rising sun (Samson), He brought resurrection and eternal life.
Summary:
The Lion of God, strong and united,
drank the cup of suffering and conquered death’s sting. The mighty warrior
humbled Himself as a worm, poured out His crimson blood, and became the light of
the world who opens the way. He carried His cross like an oak tree, served all
humbly, and rose like the sun to bring eternal life.
This divine message hidden in the judges’
names reveals the heart of our salvation — the suffering, humility, and
victorious love of Jesus Christ on the Cross. It is not coincidence,
but a divine foreshadowing woven through Scripture.
