Who is Manasseh? Judges 18:30-31

Judges 18:30 And the children of Dan set up the graven image: and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of Manasseh, he and his sons were priests to the tribe of Dan until the day of the captivity of the land.

Judges 18:31 And they set them up Micah's graven image, which he made, all the time that the house of God was in Shiloh.

• So Mosheh becomes Manasseh.
• The Manasseh occurs, to show that the serpent came in and profaned the law.
• This Manasseh is not the brother of Ephraim (Moses’s sons). 

• But the meaning of this Manasseh(Judges) is different. 
• If we do not understand the meaning of the Hebrew language, we will not understand why Moses is called Manasseh. 
• In the Hebrew language, the Lord has shortened the letter nun in the name of Manasseh. 
• Because the trick of Satan, the serpent entered into the name Moses (the law of God), and deceived them.

Judges 18:31:

• All the time that God's temple was in Shiloh, they (the Dan tribes) kept the image that Micah had made. 
• Jonathan, the grandson of Moses, was the priest of the image that Micah made. 
• Here Jonathan brought shame to his grandfather Moses.
