English: Song of Solomon 

Greek: Asma Asmatone (Song of All Songs) 

Hebrew: sheh ha shaheem

Meaning: The greatest song of all songs 

• This book was given to us by God through Solomon, So it is called the Song of Solomon. 

Wisdom of Solomon: 

Why is the Song of Solomon book called the greatest Song of all Songs?

1 Kings 4:29 And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.

Wisdom is spirit related. 

largeness of heart - Psychological stamina, Mental stamina

1 Kings 4:30 And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.

1 Kings 4:32 And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.

• The Songs of Solomon are one thousand and five. 
• But only little of it, is given to us in the book of Proverbs. 
• Because Solomon sang over a thousand songs, this Book is called the greatest of all songs.
