Book of Matthew - Interesting Facts Let us know some interesting facts about the book of Matthew.  Of the four Gospels, only the book of Matthew contains the word " Kingdom of Heaven ” and the word " Church ."  The word  “Kingdom of God” appears 5 times in the book of Matthew and it appears in all the gospels.  The word " Kingdom of Heaven " appears 33 times in 32 verses in the book of Matthew.  All the 32 verses are mentioned below. Matthew 11:12 explained  Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence , and the violent take it by force. The same verse found in Luke Gospel, viz, Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. suffereth violence (Matt) and presseth (Luke): “Biazo” in Greek. Meaning - To apply force, to use force.  Take it by force: “Harpazo” in Greek.
