Abram to Abraham:

  • Abram - "exalted father" (Meaning)
  • without hey (Hebrew letter- number 5 - Grace)
  • Without Grace
  • Abraham -"father of a multitude" (Meaning)
  • with hey (Hebrew letter)
  • With Grace. 


Hebrew letter Hey  ה: 

Abram to Abraham :

הHey - added in between (Grace)

Sarai to Sarah:
  • Sarai - "princess" (Meaning)
  • without hey (Hebrew letter- number 5 - Grace)
  • Without Grace 
  • Sarah - “noblewoman" (Meaning)
  • God took the yud letter away
  • And added Hey letter. 
  • with hey (Hebrew letter)
  • With Grace.

Sar means princess:

  • Every time he calls her Sarai 
  • ‘Sar’ is like a captain, Lord, Chief, Boss.
  • Sar shalom means ‘the prince of peace’

Yud letter - 10 taken away- Grace given:
  • The value of the YUD is 10
  • God took the 10 away
  • God took the Law (10 commandments) away 
  • And gave her Grace 
  • She became the Noble Woman.
Issac:
  • When the moment God changed her name
  • She had a son(Issac), he brought joy and laughter
  • Issac means “he laughs”.
  • Without grace, no marriage can succeed

ה - Hey - number 5 - Grace: 

  • Num 5 is the number of grace .
  • The 5th time Noah’s name is mentioned it says Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

  • The 5th time Ruth’s name was mentioned it says Ruth said, “Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace”.

 What is desirable in a MAN:



  • What is desirable in a Man is his kindness.
  • In the Hebrew, the word “kindness” is the word “Hesed”. 
  • ‘Hesed’ is Grace.
  • What makes Man attractive is Grace.

What is desirable in a WOMAN :



  • What is desirable in a Woman is her Prudence.
  • If you see a prudent wife, she is from the Lord. 
  • Prudent (‘Sekel’ in Hebrew)

Sekel - Wisdom:

  • Good success is one word in Hebrew - ‘Sekel’
  • ‘Sekel’ is wisdom that results in good success.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success(Sekel).


Abigail - good understanding:


1 Samuel 25:3 Now the name of the man was Nabal; and the name of his wife Abigail: and she was a woman of good understanding, and of a beautiful countenance: but the man was churlish and evil in his doings; and he was of the house of Caleb.

  • Good is ‘Tobe’ in Hebrew
  • Understanding is ‘Sekel’ in Hebrew 
  • Same word for Prudent Wife. 

Man and Woman:

  • Woman is “Ishah” in Hebrew 
  • Man is “ish” in Hebrew 
  • Woman was taken out of man


Man:

Woman:

שׁ - Shin

ה - Hey



  • God put extra Grace (Hey letter) in Woman. 
Relationship  burns :

  • ‘Yud’ is God’s name
  • ‘Hey’ is God’s name 
  • If we take God’s name out in both the names 
  • It spells Aleph+Shin 
  • ‘ESH’ means Fire. 
  • Fire burns.
  • Marriage or Relationship will burn, when the God is not in it.


Man and Woman to Husband and wife: 

  • In the original language, a Husband is still a Man. Wife is still a Woman.
  • But in English it says Husband and Wife 
  • But in English, a word called Husband from an old English; house-bond .It’s not original. 

Ish and Ishah: Hebrew 

  • In Hebrew, ‘Ish’ is a Man, who can be a single or married. 
  • In Hebrew ‘Ishah’ is a Woman, who can be a virgin, or a married woman or a widow of any age 

Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband(ish) with her; and he did eat.


Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife(ishah) and they shall be one flesh.


Aner and Gyne: Greek

  • In Greek ,’Aner’ is a Man, who can be a single or married. 
  • In Hebrew ‘Gyne’ is a Woman, who can be a virgin, or a married woman or a widow of any age 
  • (The word Gynecologist came from this word)

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands(‘Aner’ in Greek) love your wives(‘Gyne’ in Greek) even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;


Groom and Bride:


  • First letter of the Bride (כּ - kaf)
  • First letter of the Groom (ח - khes)
  • Koach - Power


Deuteronomy 8:12-18:

  • Power is to get Wealth
  • Wealth establishes his Covenant 
  • Not poverty establishes his Covenant 

Abraham’s Servant:

  • Abraham sends his unnamed Servant to find a Bride.
  • He is the picture of Holy Spirit.
  • We are the Picture of Bride.
  • Longest chapter in Genesis is 24.
  • How the Holy Spirit, who is unnamed, He doesn’t draw attention to himself. 
  • But looks for a Bride (Church) for the Son(Jesus).
  • If the servant (Holy Spirit) finds a Bride (Church pupil)
  • He gives her all kinds of Gifts of the Spirit and Fruits of the Spirit. 

Success - qarah:

  • In Genesis 24, we see that the first mention of qarah (right happenings) in the Bible occurs after a time of prayer. 
  • In this story, Abraham’s servant went out to look for a bride for Isaac. 
  • Before he went out looking for the potential bride, the servant took time to pray:

“Then he said, “O LORD God of my master Abraham, please give me success (‘qarah’) this day, and show kindness to my master Abraham.”
Genesis 24:12 NKJV

  • The servant prayed and asked God for success, which is the Hebrew word for qarah (right happenings). 
  • Even before the servant finished praying, God answered his prayer. 
  • Genesis 24:15 tells us that Rebekah, who was God’s appointed one for Isaac, appeared even before the servant finished praying.
God’s Grace:

  • This shows us that when we pray for good success, we position ourselves to experience the right happenings that God has already orchestrated for us! 
  • These right happenings cannot be planned by man, and can only happen to us by God’s grace.
  • And just like how God answered the servant so speedily, know that God has already sent the answer to your prayer (Is. 65:24) even as you take time to pray! 
  • Many a time, even the prayers we pray, the Lord was the One who first put it on our hearts to pray those prayers, that He might give us what He has already prepared for us to receive.
Ten Camels - Tithe:

  • Ten of his Master’s camels. 
  • Ten camels represents all his Master’s goods. 
  • Here is the principle of “Tithe”.
  • Why is ten percent? Why does God ask for ten percent
  • Because “Ten” to God represents all.
  • Ten camels for all his masters goods were in his hand 
  • Ten represents the all 
  • You can’t even give a tenth , you can’t give it all 

Find your Life Partner at the Well:

  • If you want a life partner, be in a place where there is a well. 
  • Church is a well. 

God’s Appointed one: 


  • A Man who has God’s Grace and being kind is perfect for a Woman.
  • A Woman with God’s Grace, Good Success , Good understanding and prudence is perfect for a Man
  • That’s not their Perfect choice, that’s God’s perfect choice.
  • That’s the God’s appointed one.
  • Right happenings will takes place at right time
