Lord, Help me do what’s right 

We learn what God expects of us by reading God’s Word. But we can’t stop with just learning and reading, we have to actually do it. 

Philippians 4:9
[9] What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

1. Ask God to help you be disciplined enough to read his word and pray everyday. 
2. Ask God to help you understand how he wants you to live and then live that way. 

• Learning to live God’s way takes a lifetime. As he continually makes us his ways we need to be continually ask. 

Psalm 25:4
    [4] Make me to know your ways, O LORD;
        teach me your paths.

• Lord, help me to obey you, the way you want me to. so, I can become the person you created me to be. 

Psalm 25:5
    [5] Lead me in your truth and teach me,
        for you are the God of my salvation;
        for you I wait all the day long.

• When you do things you don’t like, simply because you know you need to do them, character is built in you. 

Psalm 32:8
    [8] I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
        I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

• Obedience is sacrificial. It is trusting that God knows best even when you can’t understand. 

Psalm 143:10
    [10] Teach me to do your will,
        for you are my God!
    Let your good Spirit lead me
        on level ground!

• If you are not seeing answers to your prayers; a good prayer would be, “Lord, is there any area of  my life where I am not obeying you” ? 

Galatians 6:9
[9] And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

God is preparing you daily for something great.
